Mt. Evans

Sawyer, Kelly, Sam, and I went to Mt. Evans for the afternoon. It is such a beautiful drive. As we got to the top, I realized I was really, really low on gas. Who knew just under a half of a tank would not be enough?! Apparantly, it happens all the time. Ranger John said gas is built into the $10 park fee. On the way home we stopped in Idaho Springs--one of my favorite towns--and ate dinner. It was a wonderful day. The views from Mt. Evans are spectacular!
