It was a rough night.
Poor thing...
Getting some rest...
They removed the tubes on day 3
Such a sweetheart.
The doctor said she was a "Happy Wheezer"
Last Sunday we took Sophie to the doctor and they basically said there was nothing wrong--to keep an eye on her. So we went home. The next night, she was getting worse so my mom and I took her to urgent care. Concerned with her breathing, they sent us to the ER. Cameron and I spent about 3 hours in the ER. It took 5 people (and yes, 5 pokes) to find a vein. It was awful! She had xrays, blood drawn and shots. They said she had RSV and pneumonia. We spent the next four days at Mercy. Sophie Mae was such a good girl. She was still so happy and sweet. It was such a long, scary week. I always thought my first hospital visit would have been stiches for wild man Sawyer--not Sophie.

this reminds me of when Sophia Pearl was 6 mos and she had RSV, then shortly after pneumonia. Ugh rough times! She had the little tubes as well then had to do breathing treatments at home for a while.
